Exchanging project data between FastTrack Schedule and Microsoft Project is quick and easy with our Project Converter. This free online service, provided by AEC Software, converts Microsoft Project 2003/2002/2000/98 files into FastTrack Schedule 8 files.

Whether you use FastTrack Schedule on Windows, Macintosh, or both platforms, our Project Converter bridges the gap between Microsoft Project and FastTrack Schedule. Simply upload your Microsoft Project file to our online servers, where it will be converted into a FastTrack Schedule 8 file and returned to you via email.

NOTE: The Project Converter returns a FastTrack Schedule 8.0.8 file which can be opened in the current version as well as Versions 8.0.5, 8.0.6, 8.0.7, 8.0.8 and FastTrack Schedule 9. FastTrack Schedule 8 users running an earlier version can download a free FastTrack Schedule 8.0.8 Update.

NOTE: The Project Converter cannot process Microsoft Project 2007 files at this time. If you have a Microsoft Project 2007 file, please save it as a Microsoft Project 2003 file before sending it to be converted.

Step 1:   Enter the e-mail address to which the converted file should be sent.
 
Step 2:   Locate the Microsoft Project 2003/2002/2000/98 files to be converted by clicking the "Browse" button. [Your documents should be *.mpp or *.mpt files and should not be password protected, contain macros, share resources from a resource pool, contain an apostrophe ( ' ) in the file name, or be saved in a version earlier than Project 98.]

Step 3:   Click the "Send to Server" button to upload to our Internet servers.
     
Note:   Upload may take some time, depending on the size of the files. You will not see a progress indicator during this process; however, a confirmation page will be displayed once the file has been uploaded successfully. When the file conversion is complete, the appropriate FastTrack Schedule 8 document will be sent to the email address provided.
